Laser skin resurfacing prices vary depending on the treatment type you choose. During your consultation, our nurse practitioner, Amy, will understand your skin issues and goals before reviewing the types of available laser resurfacing treatments. After this, she can help you decide on your treatment and talk to you about pricing. Divine IV and Wellness regularly runs skin treatment specials and discounted packages, so ask about current specials during your appointment.
How can I help my skin recover after a resurfacing treatment?
Amy or a member of her team will explain ways to help your skin heal after a laser session. The number one rule is don't peel or pick flaking skin. This could cause lasting damage, including scars. You need to forgo all methods for hair removal on the treated skin, which means no waxing, shaving, or hair removal creams. We will recommend a cream to help soothe treated areas.
How often should I get laser resurfacing treatments?
Depending on the resurfacing type you and Amy select for your procedure, we may advise you to wait weeks or even a few months between treatments. More intense laser treatments will give you longer-lasting results but require more time for recovery. You should talk to Amy about how frequently you would like to return for treatments so she can consider this when choosing a type of resurfacing during your initial consultation.
