Amy Berkhout is an experienced family nurse practitioner and co-owner of Divine IV and Wellness. In addition to Divine IV and Wellness, Amy and her husband, Joost, also own and operate East Valley Joint Clinic (EVJC) since its founding in 2016. Amy met Joost while studying for her bachelor's degree at Northern Arizona University (NAU) where Joost was a foreign exchange student from the Netherlands. Amy and Joost have two children, Oliver and Hannah. In their free time, they enjoy camping, playing board games, and being outdoors when possible in Arizona.
Two years after achieving a bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Amy realized she was being called to become a nurse. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2004 and her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from NAU in 2013. In the Spring of 2025, she received her Doctorate from NAU.
After working in other clinics, Amy decided that it was time to open her own clinic to share and educate patients about health and wellness. Thus, Divine IV and Wellness was opened in the spring of 2018. In owning her own practice, Amy has found that she is able to spend more time with each patient and can incorporate various modalities of treatments that are more holistic and preventive, going back to her roots of health promotion and disease prevention. She is specially trained in multiple areas, including nutritional IV therapies, hormone replacement therapy, thyroid optimization, joint injections, trigger point injections, and platelet-rich plasma therapy.

I have been going to Divine IV and Wellness for over 6 years using the PEMF therapy for conditions with no real medical hope like fibromyalgia and mild case of case of Parkinson's. I've seen improvements with my health due to this therapy. Amy and all her employees have been very helpful in giving me this therapy and are just great people to be around.
